Threads -
1. AVOID POSTING IN CAPS!
Avoid posting in all-caps. It's equivalent to shouting. Posting in caps will not result in high visibility for the thread, on the contrary such posts are more liable to be ignored.
2. Search Before You Post!
Please do go through the existing threads before directly jumping to creating a new thread. Most common threads are already there, maybe even with solutions.
3. Post in the right place:
Users are requested to post in the right category within the forums.
4. Define your post correctly:
Using subject lines such as 'Help me' or 'got a problem' in the thread title makes it difficult for a person to gain insight into the intent of the posting. So please define your purpose of the thread properly.
5. Sticky topics:
Certain topics(such as prices, system recommendations) have been made sticky, for a reason. The reason being that they are available for ready reference. Read the sticky topics before posting.
6. Excessive use of punctuation marks
Avoid excessive use of punctuation marks, like "!!!!!!!!!!!!!". It doesn't look good.
7. Hotlinking Images
Images bigger than 300x300 pixels should be posted in thumbnails (use file hosts like imageshack.us) or give links to the same
